The yearly spiritual journey of Urs is a main fiesta at the Ajmer Dargah Sharif. This mystical fiesta honors the Great Sufi Saint Khawaja Moinudin Chishti passes away anniversary. Detained throughout the Rajab Six days (seventh month of the Islamic timetable), it generally falls in the May or June Month. It is believed that Khawaja Moinudin Chishti cooked for six days before leave-taking his corporeal remains. That's why the fiesta is detained for six days. Each year, devotees from all over the world come to pursue the Sufi saint's sacred sign throughout these holy six days. Throughout this time, the whole shrine is magnificent with the aroma of the sandalwood, rose petals, and jasmines.
